Buddy Holly - Words of Love (1956) (by humanoide2007

There is always the Beatles vs Buddy Holly debate on who did it better. If you haven’t heard it already have a listen to the Patti Smith cover.

Sometimes, you don’t like things the first time. Example, Perrier. After a few times though, I have come to love it. So what’s the point? Try it at least a few times. Now on to try eggplant. (current opinion: yuck!)
What makes a moment
Is it just time or does something need to happen?
Things I have always wanted to do Vol 1:
- Own a t-shirt shop that sold only novelty Ts
- Be a back up singer in a motown band. (I have practiced a lot in my car to “Midnight Train to Georgia” - Gladys Knight)
- Be a professional tambourine or synth player (you should see my moves on stage)
- Travel to the Galapagos Islands
- See the Amazon
gearing up for a road trip
Always important to have the ideal playlist. You need your key start up songs (Small town boy - bronski beat), the ones that reference driving (Running down a dream - Tom Petty) and the ones that you absolutely know all of the words to (graceland-paul simon). Nothing is worse than getting busted for a little too much la-la-la and not enough actual lyrical content, then having to remain in the vehicle for a few more hours.
I have a short trip to Seattle planned. Mission this weekend? Create a new list. Hopefully, my driving partner will either agree or provide a list as well…or it will be a long drive.
